Unlike crops, there is a significant lack of scientific information for wild plant seed conservation. Therefore, research on optimal storage conditions and methods is necessary for long-term preservation of wild plant seeds. The Baekdudaegan Global Seed Vault (BGSV) is conducting various studies related to the long-term storage of wild plant seeds, using specialized personnel and research equipment.
BGSV is open to discussions with institutions that deposit seeds for research collaborations and technical support, and it can share its research findings and development technologies.
